CAROL M BALDWIN BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FUND RACE AT LABRADOR - FEB. 20, 2010, NOON - 2:30PM
To participate in this fun and worthwhile event each organization will sponsor a race team (ski,snowboarder, tellmark) comprised of 4 people and a celebrity. The race will pit two teams at a time head-to-head giant slalom course …. (FUN 4 ALL).

2010 ONONDAGA CUP RACE AT LABRADOR - FEB. 21, 2010...
ANNUAL ONONDAGA CUP RACE - FEB 21ST Grab your skis and come on down to Labrador Mountain to participate in the club's annual ski race that will be held on the regular Nastar Course - the Minipi Rapids trail this year. The race will NOT be held on the Cut Throat Trail this year.
VOLUNTEERS: Even if you do not plan to race, we could use some volunteers with typing skills to enter race data into the computer prior to the race, individuals to handle registration sign-up and payments, and people to arrange the racers in bib order at the start shack. RACE TIME/DATE: 12 Noon on Sunday Feb 21st at Labrador Mtn on the Nastar Course - Minipi Rapids.
WHO CAN RACE?
Race is open to all racers 12 years of age or older, club members, NASTAR racers, and high school and college racers. Put a team together or come as an individual and be assigned to a team at sign-up time. (J1 and J2 racers are welcome.)
TEAM MAKE-UP & SCORING:
Each Race Team will consist of 1 Female and 4 Male Racers as a minimum.
Up to 4 women and 7 men may be on a given team.
NASTAR team scoring will be used to establish total team points. Team points will be based on the highest female points combined with the four highest male points. The team with the highest number of points will be awarded 1st place.
The time of the fastest run of 2 runs will be counted for each racer.
AWARDS:
- Pizza/beer/soda party following the race in the 'Ole Bar in the Main Lodge.
- Trophies and medals will be awarded to the winning team members.
- Trophies will also be awarded for each age and gender group similar to Masters and NASTAR races.
REGISTRATION:
- $15 per person for racers who are Labrador ski pass holders, Labrador Team NASTAR members, or Labrador J1 or J2 racers.
- $30 per person for J1 or J2 racers from other mountains (includes lift ticket)
- $30 per person for College Students (includes lift ticket)
- $35 for all others (includes lift ticket)
- Begins @ 9 AM on race day in the 'Ole Bar in the Main Lodge at Labrador Mtn.
- For those planning to race, please inform Marvin Patnode of the OSC Race Committee by February 20, 2010 in person, by phone @ 409-4531, or by e-mail mpatnode@twcny.rr.com. , so that plans can be made for the correct number of racers and teams.

AQUARIUS CUP AT SONG MTN. - MARCH 6, 2010...
As many of you know the Aquarius Cup is coming up shortly and the word needs to be spread to all corners of the great State of New York and neighbor states. This year I have established a fundraiser for the Inpatient center for Children's Cancer and Blood Disorder at the Golisano's Children's Hospital in Syracuse, NY and the Search Dog Foundation by hosting the Aquarius Cup.
This year the event will take place on Otto's Hill at Song Mountain in Tully, NY on Saturday the 6th of March, and will start at 9AM. The race is for everyone. Registration is from 7:30AM to 8:30AM on March 6th, 2010 or by email to aquariuscup@gmail.com. The cost per racer is $25.
Come out and rip some turns with the fastest skiers of our region and have some fun doing it.

MAKE-A-WISH RACE AT LABRADOR - MARCH 7, 2010...
The race will be on the NASTAR Course, GS, best of 2 runs. Scoring will be by NASTAR Team handicap. Teams will consist of at least 5. - No age limit. Teams can be made up of all boys or girls or a mix. Single entries will be put on a team. Registration is $35, which covers the race and an all day lift ticket.
