Lodge Update
The spring work weekend is scheduled for the last weekend in April. For garden enthusiasts, a gardening weekend is planned for June. Details to follow.
Check the OSC web site regularly for activities that will take place in the vicinity of the lodge throughout the year.
Lodge Reservations
For lodge reservations, contact Dave and Diane Clark at 315-635-1686.
Rates
Due to the increasing energy costs, the rates for the lodge have been raised. Private room rates are now $40 per room and dorm rates are $20 per person.
Discounted Lift Tickets:
Discount lift tickets are available for only OSC members use.
Tickets for Ascutney, Bromley, Gore/Whiteface, Jay Peak, Mount Snow, Okemo, or Stratton - are no longer available for the rest of this season. However, tickets for Sugarbush are still available. Contact Dave or Diane Clark (at 315-635-1686) for availability.
Children at the Lodge
We welcome your children who are 13 and over at the lodge at any time. Children from 13 to 17 years of age must be junior members, and must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian who is a member of OSC. They must stay in a room with their parents, or they may stay in the dorm if a parent, grandparent, or guardian stays in the dorm with them. Children above 17 years of age must be full members of the club.
In addition, all children under age 13 are invited to enjoy the lodge on our special family dates free of charge (no membership fee required either), and must stay in a room with parents, grandparents, or guardians.
In addition, children of any age are welcome when they are part of a group that has rented the Lodge between the months of May through October.
Check on family dates, children rates, and group rentals under the "General Information" tab at the left.
Spring Skiing
Let's not forget that the ski season extends into and throughout the month of March in the mountains of Vermont. There will be great skiing for downhill and cross country ski enthusiasts. Remember that we have discounted lift tickets in stock for Sugarbush. Contact Dave and Diane Clark (315-635-1686) for these tickets.
Trip Leaders for Lodge Visits
(May 1 to September 30 -- excluding the July 4th weekend)
Be a trip organizer/leader and get 12 people or more to join you at the lodge and you, as a trip leader, will receive free lodge accommodations during your stay. Let's keep the lodge filled and hopping all year long.
New Fire Alarm System
The new fire alarm system is now in place and gives you added safety protection while at the lodge. It is a smoke, carbon monoxide, high heat, and low heat alarm detection system.
If the alarm system should go off, instructions on what to do are posted over the reset box in the entrance foyer (over the key pad box), as well as on the bulletin board in the kitchen and over the phone in the front hall.
ENERGY ALERT!
High energy costs have made it especially important that everyone turn down the three thermostats to 60 degrees when leaving the lodge. This can help us keep the reservation costs as economical as possible. The locations of the three thermostats are:
* Dining Room
* Upstairs hall front
* Upstairs hall back
Please remember, IT'S YOUR LODGE, KEEP IT CLEAN!!!
