Lodge News

Fall 2009

Lodge Update
During Fall's work weekend the lodge committee and volunteers cleaned and prepped the lodge for the coming ski season. The priority that weekend was the replacement of the front porch railing with one more in character with the house.

Check the OSC web site regularly for activities that will take place in the vicinity of the lodge throughout the year.

Trip Leaders for Lodge Visits
(May 1 to October 31 -- excluding the July 4th & Columbus Day weekends )
At any time of the year be a trip organizer/leader and receive free lodge accommodations during your stay if you have at least 11 other people join you at the lodge. Let's keep the lodge filled and hopping all year long.

New Fire Alarm System
The new fire alarm system is now in place and gives you added safety protection while at the lodge. It is a smoke, carbon monoxide, high heat, and low heat alarm detection system.

If the alarm system should go off, instructions on what to do are posted over the reset box in the entrance foyer (over the key pad box), as well as on the bulletin board in the kitchen and over the phone in the front hall.

ENERGY ALERT!
High energy costs have made it especially important that everyone turn down the three thermostats to 55 degrees when leaving the lodge. This can help us keep the reservation costs as economical as possible. The locations of the three thermostats are:
* Living Room
* Upstairs hall front
* Upstairs hall back

PLEASE REMEMBER, IT'S YOUR LODGE, KEEP IT CLEAN!!!
