Google Maps provides directions from anywhere to the lodge. All you need to do is go to "get directions", fill in the form and it will create a route to the lodge for you. It has some really nice features.
Mapquest
can provide excellent driving directions, from your starting place, and
may provide some variations with shortest route, fastest route or whatever
you may select. If it isn't filled in already, you can type in 4051 Vt. Rt. 100 Lower Granville, VT 05747 for your ending location.
Others in the club may have
other favorite routes and places to stop for refreshments, ask around. It
is always prudent to have a map just in case you miss a turn.
Then there is always the high
technology way - GPS - Lower Granville is located at 43 degrees 59'
05.14" North, 72 degrees 50' 48.54" West and is at about 977 ft.
above sea level.
Staying at the Lodge
For your stay at the lodge, you will need to bring sheets and pillow
cases (or sleeping bag and pillow case), towels and whatever food items you
plan to consume. Blankets are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. Please
bring your recyclable food bottles and cans home with you. Please remember to
clean before departing. Since there is no cell phone reception at the lodge and only local calls can be made on the lodge phone; a calling card is recommended if you plan to make long distance calls from the lodge phone. The Lodge phone number is: 802-767-3234
There are four bathrooms at lodge. A Men's bathroom and Women's bathroom are on the first floor, which are used by those sleeping in the dorms. A third shared bathroom is located by rooms 5, 6 and 7 on the 2nd floor. The fourth shared bathroom is located by rooms 1-4, also on the 2nd floor.
