ELECTIONS 2008The 2008 elections are coming on April 8. Our nominating committee has been appointed and approved by the Board of Directors at the Special January Board Meeting. The first meeting of the Nominating Committee will be held in January. We will be preparing a slate of officers and board members to be published in the March Boomer and also on our website. This is the time to step up and run for an office or a board position and give back to the club that has given so much to us. ARE YOU INTERESTED? Contact a member of the Nominating Committee. The following positions are open: President, 2nd Vice President, Recording Secretary, 4 Members of the Board of Directors. To be eligible for the office of President, or 2nd Vice President, a nominee must have been an adult member of the Club for at least two (2) of the immediate preceding years. To be eligible for the office of Recording Secretary or Board Member of the Club, one must have been an adult member of the Club for at least one (1) year immediately preceding his/her election and to maintain his/her membership in good standing throughout his/her term of office. No officer or director shall hold any one office for more than two (2) consecutive terms. The Nominating Committee invites written petitions from the membership designating a person as a candidate for an office or directorship signed by no less than five (5) members and to be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days prior to the election to Joann Butler, Nominating Committee Chairperson, 2360 Pompey Hollow Rd., Cazenovia, NY 13035.
