Outings- Our outing leader , Terry Avery has been busy working on outings for our club. He is proposing to have one outing each month during the warm weather. Past outings in May included a trip to Kayuta Lake and South Lake. Terry proposed a trip from Cape Vincent biking across Wolf Island and visiting Kingston for June 26. Overnight plans could be arranged at a later date. For the more daring, Terry has suggested that over the 4th of July weekend up at the lodge after the infamous parade that we bushwack in an area around the lodge from the falls. On July 17 and 18 , Terry proposed a trip at the headwaters of Lake Lila at the Beaver River Flow. We would help open up the waters around that region. For August, a camping trip is planned at Camp Eaton in the Adirondacks. The dates for this trip are August 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Membership- Christa bought up the fact that she is looking for a replacement. Mary Jo Dinuzzo and Dawn Bennett have expressed interest. It was suggested that Maggie Goldych be approached because of her recent interest in the club. Christa suggested that we put an ad on the web adding a job description. A retired person would be nice.
Insurance- Karen reported that we can go to a personal liability policy but we still have to look into different options. Several people brought up the fact that for each individual trip we needed to have a sign-in sheet that releases the liability of the club in case of
accident.
Minutes- Anne made a motion that the minutes be sent out in e-mail form. Motion was approved.
Out of town- Tom Button will be out of town (in Spain) and will not be here during the next meeting. Jan Carr will have control of the checkbook for that period.
Party time- Anne suggested that we have a huge party for Judy Swanson to honor her presidency as well as say bon voyage. She will be looking at her calendar to pick a date possible in September.
Boomer on the web- Jack Lancette brought up the fact that it may be easier to put the Boomer on the Web. Judy stated that if everyone got the Boomer for free on the web there would be no reason to pay dues unless there was a system of allowing only members to visit the Boomer. Scott suggested forming a committee to discuss this timely issue.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 PM.- Respectfully submitted- Anne Sonne
