Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Activities
That's right, as a club, we are active all year doing things together, outside and inside.
Skiing is big in the winter months, and our Lodge is open all year for get togethers, hiking, biking, skiing, and on and on.
During the Spring, Summer and Fall we have a widely diverse set of activities, depending on members who want to lead activities like golf, tennis, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, camping, etc.. All of our scheduled activities are listed on our Calendar, so check it out to get a better idea of where to find us and how to join in.
Some of our past activity reports are listed on the right hand side of this page.
Tennis on Monday Evenings
Tennis is not just a great sport to keep those legs in shape for the next ski season, it is a lot of fun to play. We start playing any time after 4pm as people arrive after work, and play as long as we can. Generally, everyone is ready for some refreshments and food after that so we then decide on a local restaurant to replenish our bodies. Call Gary Woolschlager at 414-0459 for additional information or e-mail garydonnaw@yahoo.com.
Golfing on Tuesday Evenings
We whack that little white ball all over the place at Lyndon Golf Course, make up rules as we go along, and only remember the shots we want to of course. Some start in the afternoon if 9 isn't enough for them, but we all get together after wards to celebrate the events of the day and refurbish our bodies. Sound like fun? Come on out and join us. It is fun...
Biking on Wednesday Evenings
Biking is another great activity to keep the legs in shape and have fun doing it. Our biking leaders, Jan Carr and Larry Harrison, spend many hours planning the biking routes with generally 3 different rides starting and ending at their designated meeting places throughout the spring and summer. The organization of the rides and the meetings afterward with great food will keep you coming back week after week. Check out the biking schedule on our biking page and come on out and have some fun!
